Your iPad as the classroom PC's pen tablet and whiteboard
PadLink is a free Windows app for teachers. Open a page in Safari on your iPad or iPhone and you can write on the PC with Apple Pencil, move the mouse, type, and run a whiteboard on the projector from anywhere in the room.
Windows 10 or 11. Unzip it and run PadLink.exe; nothing to install. PadLink updates itself after that.
What it does
- Pen tablet: Apple Pencil writes in any PC app, with pressure.
- Remote: the PC screen on your iPad, with mouse, keyboard and shortcuts.
- Whiteboard: pens, shapes, graphs, text and math, laser pointers, and pages from the PC screen, photos, PDFs and Google Drive.
Google Drive
On the whiteboard you can add a file from Google Drive. Google's own file picker opens, you choose one file, and PadLink gets only that file. PadLink can't see the rest of your Drive and never changes anything in it. See the privacy policy.
